Ms. Granados has training as a Bacteriologist from the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia and as a Specialist in Management of Public Health from Universidad del Rosario, Colombia. More recently, she completed a Masters in Clinical Trials degree with the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain in 2009. She held progressive roles as a Clinical Research Associate with several major pharmaceutical companies, before joining the CRO Latam Clinical Trials in 2008 as a Regulatory Affairs/Project Manager. She was promoted to Chief, Clinical Operations LatAm Clinical Trials, and then to Director, Clinical Operations of JSS Medical Research Latam S.A.S., when the company merged with JSS Medical Research Inc. Her experience is wide-ranging in private industry, academic and government sectors, and encompasses regulatory affairs and clinical aspects, in multiple therapeutic areas including vaccines, cardiovascular, infectious disease, biosimilars, oncology, cosmetics and medical devices from phase I through phase IV. With over 10 years of experience in clinical trials in Latin America, she has the important role of providing business development support for emerging markets in addition to the day-to-day oversight and leadership in operations including the development of best practices and continuous improvement programs for the region.
