Ms. Boukas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from McGill University with training in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She has also been certified by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). She has over 25 years of experience in medical research management including Clinical Trials (Phase II-III), Observational Studies, Chart Reviews and Literature Reviews. She has been working with the JSS Medical Research team since its inception in the 1990s.
Ms. Boukas has been a key person in structuring and implementing programs such as PHYSCANâ„¢ and the CRC Networkâ„¢ at JSS Medical Research which have proved to be cost efficient tools for project completion by significantly reducing site recruitment activities. She collaborated with the IT and QA departments to develop the JSS Medical Research Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system to facilitate remote data capture and the Clinical Database Management System (CDMS) for double data entry, as well as to implement Oracle Clinical software. She led her teams in developing the Data Management Tracking Log (DMTL) which is an electronic tracking tool designed to track study related activities and issue reports.
In addition, she plays a key role in the development and coordination of global operations activities.
